Peni has been practicing Bikram Yoga since 2000. She came to the practice to relieve the mental and physical stresses associated with a high-pressure professional and personal life. Almost immediately, she noticed the changes in her mind and body. In 2004, Peni practiced for almost an entire year while working through personal issues. Change continued as Peni practiced daily and finally, in Fall 2011, she attended Teacher Training. Since then, Peni as been teaching full time and believes herself an ambassador for Bikram Yoga – embodying the physical and mental benefits a consistent practice brings to students and teachers alike.
